Folsom Entertainment

This week I'm getting to one of the first requests that came in when we launched the site. I'm not sure why this took me so long to get to, but I think I really wanted to do this piece justice. A member wanted to see COLT model Carlo Masi tickled at the outdoor Folsom Street Fair. This piece presented not only the challenge of a celebrity likeness, but multiple ticklers each with their own personality. I'm pretty happy with the way this one turned out, and I was already e-mailed by the member who requested it, and he loved it. I hope you do too.

Also, we've added 5 more pieces to Franco's gallery, this time almost all of them dealing with torturous, slow, teasing edging. Franco is truly the master at keeping us all on edge with his illustrations.

Enjoy this week's update! More requested images to come next week!

T-I-C-K-L-E! What's that spell?

This week Sloth answers a request from a certain belly-button fiend who had the desire to see one of those hunky male cheerleader types getting tickled at the worst possible moment. You navel lovers will really want to see "Gimmie a T!"

Also, coming early Tuesday morning, Nomar provides a never-ending continuous animated loop of a man riding a cushion of tickling in "Happy Air".

My Time in Liberty City

So far, the only purpose this blog has served has been to notify everyone of the current tickling artwork updates. I'm a fan of many things besides tickling, and from now on I'll be posting about some of the other interests that occupy my time.

It's obvious from several of the pieces in my gallery that I'm a videogamer. I have been since I was seven years old and got my first home system for Christmas, the Atari 2600. I've followed the evolution of gaming ever since, always leaning towards games that focused on exploration and adventure. Most recently I've stepped into the shoes of Nico Bellic, the tough yet oddly sexy immigrant protagonist of Grand Theft Auto IV.

Photobucket

The Grand Theft Auto franchise may be one of the most controversial ones in all of gaming, because of its over-the-top violence and game structure that often has you working your way up the ladder in an organized crime ring. What critics of the series fail to realize is that the real star of the games has never been the hard luck anti-heroes that you play, but the cities themselves.

When Grant Theft Auto III was first released in 2001, it revolutionized the industry with a new format that would come to be called a "sandbox" style of play. It didn't take long once you began exploring Liberty City to realize that none of its details were unattainably in the background. If you could see a building in the distance, you could get to it. The city had neighborhoods and back alleys that were in no way random, but formed distinctive neighborhoods that you needed to learn well in order to progress through the game.

With the advent of the new powerful processors of the Playstation 3 and the XBox360, Rockstar Games has created a new Liberty City, this time much more than loosely based on the real life Big Apple. The scale and level of detail that the artists at Rockstar have achieved is breathtaking.

Photobucket

I've spent a decent amount of time in New York City, and can attest to the authenticity of the feeling of each of the neighborhoods created in the game. Not only do you explore the island of Manhattan and its landmarks, but there are sections of Brooklyn, The Bronx, Queens and New Jersey along with all the famous bridges and tunnels that lead to them.

The game begins in the Coney Island section of Brooklyn, and the details here are stunningly accurate. One moment in particular stood out for me: in an early mission, you are sent to ride the subway for the first time. The station near the beach is a spot-on recreation of the wide-ramped Coney Island stop and, since I've been to the real one, I experienced an odd sense of deja-vu the moment I entered it.

Photobucket

The story is typical GTA fare: an immigrant with an agenda of revenge travels to Liberty City to live with his cab driving cousin, who has grossly exaggerated his status with tales of mansions and money. Despite Nico needing to commit crime after crime to survive, he manages to remain a sympathetic and likable character, as more of his past is gradually revealed.

The trademark twisted humor of the GTA universe is intact here, this time accessible not only through the car radio stations, but also through an insanely deep in-game internet and laugh-out-loud television programming that you can watch in your safehouses. The humor occasionally veers into the juvenile, such as with the depiction of a horribly stereotypical gay character who appears late in the game.

A new addition to the series are the relationships you must cultivate, both with women you date and friends you meet along the way. Nico spends just as much time taking his friends out for drinks, bowling, pool and even a comedy club as he does gunning and running. It's a great way to flesh out every character in the game, as all your interactions with them prompt hours of conversations.

Photobucket

I'm near the end of Nico's journey, but I still find myself occasionally stopping a car and getting out to gawk at some beautiful scenery or skyscraper I hadn't noticed before; a tourist in an utterly captivating virtual world.

The Amazing Race

Hey everyone!

I get more and more thrilled with each new installment of "The Adventures of Major Power and Private Thawtz". Mr. Zikkon continues to outdo himself with each new page. This sexy superteam seems to stumble upon a lot of ticklish situations. Page 3 of this ongoing story was posted today.

Also this week I drew a very special request for my good pal, CatInHat. It seems Cat has always had a bit of a thing for Race Bannon, and who can blame him? Race is a man's man, not afraid to show off his early-greying hair, and always saving the day on Johnny Quest.

Race may have met his match, however, when an evil Pygmy witch doctor discovers his secret weakness in "This Little Pygmy".

Animation Week!

This week we've got a special treat: All animated gifs!

Now, many of you are probably familiar with Franco, who we introduced last week, but I'll bet a lot of you haven't seen some wonderful animations that were made of his work. Today, we've posted 5 of them in his gallery and it's amazing how much life a few frames of animation can bring to his drawings.

I'm still experimenting with making animations, and this week I killed two birds with one stone: I created my second animation, plus answered a very special request from Mr. Scooter McGraw. My piece is called 'Cliffhanger', and I decided to make it free for everyone since I'm planning on posting it all over MySpace. Look for my piece in the 'Free Archive' section.

Next week, I'll be back to fulfilling more member's requests, and we just may be seeing page 3 of 'Major Power and Private Thawtz'.

Enjoy!

Welcome Franco!

Hey Everyone,

This week we're debuting a gallery by Franco, who has long been known as a master of artwork of spanking and milking. I was always extra excited by his pieces that included tickle torture, usually depicting a feather being used to slowly tickle an orgasm out of a bound victim.

Franco contacted me after we connected through another website, and had a lot of kind words to say about what we've done so far at AHA. He was excited by the idea of showing his work through our site. Franco is currently unable to produce new artwork, but that situation is temporary, and he may be doing some exclusive drawings for us in the future that involve more tickling.

We'll add to Franco's gallery now and then until that time. He's got some great animated gifs that we'll be adding soon!

This week, Nomar give us his second piece, this time a surreal beach scene with some playful crabs.

Spy's Sappin' My Tickler!

Hey Guys!

This week brings two new pieces, one of them a fulfillment of a request.

My piece is going to be very familiar to anyone who plays a lot of a certain 'Team' based online videogame. One of the blue members has 'Engineered' an evil tickle torture device to use on the opposing team. The lone free member 'Spies' in the shadows, waiting to sabotage the machine.

I wasn't able to fit every character in this drawing (I ran out of room on the paper) but I left the drawing open on the right hand side. I may go back and eventually add the missing characters. How many of you would like to see that?

Sloth's piece this week is a sequel to his "Orcs of Tickle Earth" piece, in which the tables are turned on the giant, green brutes. This is an adult content image, as the request involved the tickling of some...Orc nether regions.

Finally, as I'm sure some of you have realized, the Laughter Digest issue that is supposed to have the interview with me did not arrive on the 15th, and still has not shown up on their site. I wrote to the editor, but haven't heard back from him. Hopefully it will be available soon!

See you next week!

My First Interview!

Hey Everyone!

Several months ago I was approached by Dean, the editor of a new online tickling magazine called "Laughter Digest". He had found me on MySpace and loved what we are doing with AchillesHeelArt. He asked if he could do an interview with me, and I agreed. It was a lot of fun, and the full interview will be in his next issue which will be released tomorrow, April 15th. Anyone who wants to know a little more about me and how I got into the world of tickling should check it out!

While the content of the magazine is predominantly straight-oriented, Dean would like it to encompass the entire tickling community. I would encourage anyone out there producing M/M tickling content to contact him if you'd like to have your work featured. The magazine is a great collection of interviews with people involved in the fetish, reviews of online content, etc. He sent me a preview copy of his first issue, and it was very interesting to read about how various professional ticklers/ticklees got into the scene.

I should mention that Laughter Digest is an all-digital publication, not an actual printed magazine. The interface is very cool, as you actually 'turn' the pages as if you're leafing through a real magazine.

My piece this week is the illustration that I provided to go along with his article (or is that artickle?). It depicts Dean at the mercy of his readers and is technically my very first F/M piece, as some of the hands tickling him are female. Be sure to drop by www.laughterdigest.com to check out the interview, although please remember that issue won't be available until the 15th.

Photobucket

Also this week, Mr. Zikkon continues his serial adventure starring Major Power and Private Thawtz. This time, we get to see the merciless torture of the poor Commissioner as he is interrogated by the villain The Spook. I'm very excited about the direction this strip is taking, and I'm sure the rest of you will be just as hooked as I am. I can't wait to see what comes next...

Enjoy this week's update!

FIFTY!!!

Photobucket

Today, I'm proud to make two announcements. First, we've reached the milestone of having 50 pieces of artwork in our member's section since we opened last August. We're really excited to hit this number, and we're already looking ahead to 100! My piece this week depicts Atlas desperately trying to hold aloft a giant '50' in honor of this occasion, and it's FREE for everyone! Check it out in our Free Archive section of the site.

Second, the piece that put us at the 50 mark today is by a brand new artist, Nomar. He has a strange, wonderful and surreal style and I know you're going to love the creatures and scenarios he'll be creating in the coming months. Nomar also has some experience with animation, so you'll be seeing some animated gifs from him too!

Thank you to everyone who has joined the site so far! We couldn't do it without you.

Spitzer Gets His...

Every now and then a request is going to come along that will require that I do it immediately, while the person or event is still in the news. Such was the case with my piece this week "Politickle Punishment". When it came out that Eliot Spitzer had a thing for leaving his knee-high dress socks on while he did the deed with his hooahs, foot fetishist's ears perked up.

The request asked for Eliot to be put on public display in stocks in his dress socks to be properly punished. To be honest, this one felt a little mean to me at first...kind of like kicking a man when he's down. When I pointed this out to the guy who requested the drawing, he suggested injecting a little humor into the scenario by having the tickler be that NYC pseudo-celebrity, the Naked Cowboy.

Sloth's piece this week is a classic tentacle tickling piece he calls "Binding Nemo". A hunky mermaid is at the mercy of a huge, undersea squid tickle monster!

Photobucket

Next week we're going to reach a special milestone: 50 pieces of artwork in the member's section! I'm doing a special piece that wil be free for everyone to mark the occasion. Thanks to each and every member for helping us keep this venture going with your memberships. We couldn't do it without you.
